An existing structurally deficient summer bungalow was removed to build a new 3 bedroom year round residence on the sloping lake front property. The open-plan house immediately affords a view to the lake upon stepping into the foyer.
The house was sited to take advantage of all the natural features of the site…view, southern exposure, slope of the land.
The street elevation evokes the feeling of the original summer bungalow while the opposite lake front elevation is much more open and airy. With its many windows, patio doors and multilevel decks, it opens itself to the lake.
